Ryan Seacrest, as People points out, is a man of many roles: Television host, executive producer, radio personality, and even a men's apparel designer. But now, the super-star is taking on an entirely new role — one, he says, that left him in tears. He'll serve as man of honor at his younger sister's upcoming wedding.
Posting her invitation on Instagram, 40-year-old Seacrest wrote, "I have a role in my sister's wedding. [I] just shed tear. Love [you], Mere."
The sister-to-the-star and bride-to-be, Meredith, asked Seacrest to join her bridal party with a poem printed on a black-and-white invitation. It read, "You've been by my side all of my life, and I wouldn't want you anywhere else when I become a wife. I'm so lucky to have you as my brother, and couldn't imagine celebrating with any other. So, basically, what I'm trying to say ... Will you be my Man of Honor on my special day?"
Seacrest's sister serves as the executive director and chief operating officer of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, People reports, alongside their parents, Gary and Connie Seacrest, who work respectively as the foundation's president and chief executive officer, and vice president.
