For a garden wedding, I love this pale-pink wedding cake by Jean-Paul's Creative Cakes in Charleston, South Carolina. Tiers of almond cake and raspberry jam are iced in buttercream before being covered in pale-pink fondant with white trim. I love the mix of differently shaped tiers—the effect creates great visual interest—and the color-coordinated sugar roses, buds, and leaves look so incredibly real. And rather than a cascade of sugar flowers (which can be very expensive), this design proves that just a handful can be perfectly sweet and subtle.
