Royals: They're just like us! Prince William has resumed his royal duties and official appearances since welcoming his second child, daughter Princess Charlotte, with Kate Middleton on May 2, and he's dealing with having two young children in the house just like any parent does — without much sleep.
Wills met with members of the England women's soccer team, the Lionesses, earlier today, where he chatted about little Charlotte's nocturnal behavior.
"All the girls were asking how Princess Charlotte is and Prince George and whether they keep him up all night," Steph Houghton, captain and center half for the team, told People about the meet-and-greet.
Apparently, Prince William's response to those queries was an affirmative yes. "He was saying he's obviously really enjoying being a father and Princess Charlotte is actually keeping him up — and probably why his eyes are looking a little bit tired," Houghton added.
Charlotte's newborn restlessness is matched by nearly two-year-old Prince George's energy, according to the proud dad. When asked if toddler George would play soccer, he responded, "Hopefully." According to Houghton, "He was saying he never stops moving!"
William's adorable tales of raising his royal children charmed the Lionesses — fellow teammate Jill Scott told People, "He said he'd had a few sleepless nights. The baby will be up and George is running around now isn't he? It reflects that he does a normal life away from his duty as prince."
