When the stunning Ride Along 2 actress, Olivia Munn, started to heat things up with her Green Pay Packers quarterback boyfriend, Aaron Rodgers, so did the engagement rumors! In a season that favors newly engaged couples, it's no surprise that this stunning leading lady was quick to put those engagement rumors to rest, in the most hilarious way!
No incorrect use of autocorrect here! When rumors swirled earlier this week that the former Newsroom actress and her football pro beau were officially engaged, Munn took to Instagram to share a personal conversation discussing the rumored situation with — who else? — her mom. The hilarious text message exchange perfectly details just how fast news can travel when it's in the hands of the Internet. The comical photo shows Munn's mother questioning her daughter's engagement by writing, "Hey why don't you tell me first?" with a very-non engaged Munn responding with, "Oh my gosh Mom no. You know you shouldn't believe gossip on the internet. If I was engaged, I promise you'd be like the 8th person to know. Maybe 9th. But definitely way before the internet." Glad that's settled!
Munn also gave a better understanding to the tricky conversations that are sometimes dealt with in the public eye, attaching a graciously genuine message to the light-hearted photo. "Answering yes or no to personal questions can be tricky because if you say "No" it means whenever you say "No comment" that kind of becomes your default," wrote the actress adding, "But since I'm doing press for the next few days, I didn't want to have to answer the same question over and over."

Engagement rumors first started swirling when OK! Magazine cited an unnamed source as confirmation of the pair's newly minted status, saying that Munn's quarterback boyfriend allegedly proposed over a romantic dinner — but not before asking her family for permission first.
Coincidentally, this isn't the first time the rumor mill has churned around a possible engagement between these two lovebirds. Back in 2014, the brunette beauty dished to New York Post's Alexa Magazine about a recent vintage emerald sparkler that she was given to by her football beau. But Munn quickly put the rumors to rest before things got out of hand, saying, "It's not that kind of ring, by the way. It's not the special ring. I mean, it's a very special ring, but it is not the special ring."
The Green Bay football star, who did confirm that he and his actress girlfriend were dating back in April of 2014, spoke to ESPN Wisconsin about his newfound happiness. "For one, I'm real happy in my relationship, and I understand what comes with it." The sports star also added, "I'm going to continue living my life and enjoy my public life and enjoy my relationships and not worry too much about that other stuff."
It looks like nowadays that's more important than ever!
