It looks like Bachelor couple Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi are still taking things slow. While attending the annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose event at L.A.’s Dodger Stadium, the couple revealed that (yet again) there are no wedding plans as of yet.
“Nothing has changed,” Viall told Us Weekly. “I think it’s always important to take things slow.” Grimaldi, a special needs teacher, has been working on a charity event, so wedding planning has been pushed to the side for now. “She spent a lot of time on her fundraiser, No Better You, and she raised a ton of money on her event in Montreal,” Viall continued. “That definitely took up a ton of her time. I tried to help when I could. Just trying to enjoy the summer.”
As far as the dress? Grimaldi wants to stray away from designer labels. "I think something simple," she told the entertainment source.
Don't expect a televised wedding in the future, either. In a separate interview, the former Bachelor revealed that he doesn't quite see him and his bride-to-be exchanging vows in front of the camera. There's always a possibility," Viall previously told Extra. "The thing about the wedding shows is that there's a lot of Bachelor engaged couples—they don't always do weddings."
"Vanessa and I are just focused on our relationship," he continued. "When we decide it's time for us to take that next step, we're just going to plan a wedding, and if the show wants us, great, and if not…We're not really focused on whether it's going to be televised or not."
The duo started dating on season 21 of the series, which aired this spring. Viall previously appeared on Andi Dorfman's season 10 of The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe's season 11, and season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise. He finally found love with the special needs teacher, and proposed to her with a beautiful 3.75-carat Neil Lane engagement ring.
