Natalie Portman perfects smoky brown eye makeup, Sienna Miller goes for an Audrey Hepburn-inspired style, and Diane Kruger makes pink lips and cheeks look super chic. Here, the celebrity beauty looks we loved this week.
Natalie Portman at the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Strong eye makeup was the focal point of this look, said Dior makeup artist Fiona Styles. She defined Natalie's brows with a brown pencil, lined her eyes with matte brown kohl eyeliner, and layered shimmery brown eye shadows to bring out her eyes. (Always use the darker shades at the lid and the lighter shades as you get farther out.) A bright, fuchsia blush (she used Diorblush Vibrant Color Powder Blush in Star Fuchsia) added a flush to the cheeks, and pale pink lipstick kept the look fresh.
Sienna Miller at the 2015 Academy Awards: Audrey Hepburn was the inspiration behind Sienna's beauty look, so a cat eye, naturally, was in order. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury used a black kohl liquid eye pencil and a fine-tipped liquid eyeliner pen to define the lash lines, and then applied brown eye shadow up to the creases. (Tip: Apply mascara carefully and slowly to ensure you get long, fluttery lashes, and then comb through with a disposable mascara wand to eliminate clumps.) Tilbury used a bronzer and highlighter palette to contour: She swept bronzer along the hollows of the cheeks and jawline, and added highlighter to the cheekbones. Then, to bring out Sienna's natural lip color, she applied rosy nude lip liner and lipstick. Hepburn transformation complete.
Diane Kruger at the 2015 Elle Style Awards: Diane matched her pale pink Chanel Couture gown to her makeup, which, needless to say, is definitely not a faux pas. Subdued eye makeup, tons of rosy blush, and pink lipstick brightened up Diane's fair complexion. And, if you're still looking for day-of hairstyles for your lob, try Diane's just-mussed-enough curls. Complete with a slightly off-kilter side part, it's the perfect look for relaxed, afternoon nuptials.
