It's no surprise that we love a stylish white dress. Whether a bride is dressed in one on her wedding day, a designer is sending one down the runway at Bridal Fashion Week, or a celebrity is rocking one on the red carpet, a white dress is a classic, fresh, and chic blank slate for accessories. Plus, the hue is ripe with possibilities for new interpretations—we think it should be every celebrity's go-to color! This week, we scoured the Internet for the best ivory, cream, and eggshell gowns to bring you these stunning, wedding-worthy looks.
Zoë Saldana in Calvin Klein at a screening of Out of the Furnace
The newlywed Saldana gave us perhaps a peek of what she looked like on her top-secret wedding day in this cream-colored frock that she wore during the 2013 AFI Fest. We love its fun, yet understated pattern and spaghetti straps. An ankle-length hem is still a somewhat non-traditional choice for a wedding dress, but it also opens up the possibility of showing off a pair of killer wedding shoes. Saldana shows that the hem is also perfect for a daytime wedding, especially when it's paired with a skinny gold belt and loose, wavy hair.

We had to take a second to absorb the regal beauty Harris is channeling in her incredible gown. She arrived on the arm of co-star and veritable hunk Idris Elba, but her sleek ensemble was enough to keep our attention. The gold jeweled neckline adds a necessary bit of pizzazz to the otherwise basic white dress, but her pin-straight hair ensures that the funky neckline remains the focal point. A wedding in the English countryside or at a ultra-modern hotel would be perfect for a flawless dress like this. On second thought, it's so gorgeous a bride could make it work for any wedding style.

Knee-length dresses may still be considered only appropriate for casual or daytime weddings in some circles, but Reed's folded dress has us re-thinking that notion. Its asymmetrical hem creates a bit of drama, but its otherwise relatively conservative. We love that she paired it with matching white heels and a yellow clutch. The accessories are totally ladylike and very downtown-wedding appropriate.
