Now that Meghan Markle has officially secured her invite to Pippa Middleton's wedding—she'll be attending as Prince Harry's date—it's time to reveal how the brunette beauty is getting ready for the special occasion! We still can't believe it's less than two weeks away.
A source close to the actress told E! News that she's already had not one but two (!!) separate fittings in Toronto for her wedding-day look. Little is known about Markle's outfit at the moment, but word is her ensemble will include a hat during the reception. Will Markle tap designer Philip Treacy for her headpiece? The Irish designer was the man responsible for guests' hats during Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding.
Pippa reportedly decided to forego her "no ring, no bring" policy for her upcoming nuptials to financier James Matthews. Previously, the actress was invited to only the reception, not the ceremony. Pippa enforced the rule after she witnessed the craziness surrounding Markle attending the wedding of Prince Harry's friend Tom Inskip in Jamaica; only married or engaged couples were allowed to attend the nuptials under Pippa's discretion.
"She saw how all eyes were on Meghan rather than Lara," a friend of Middleton previously shared, according to the Daily Mail. "The situation was also stressful for Harry. Pippa and her mother, Carole, wonder whether Meghan's presence could cause a great deal of unnecessary chaos."
Well, it seems as though Markle and Harry's relationship is getting even more serious, which could indicate why Pippa changed her mind about the invite. Over the weekend, Markle and her royal beau made their first public appearance during the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park Polo Club in Ascot, England. Harry participated in the games this year to support his charities, Sentebale and WellChild. Some even alleged the couple were spotted kissing!
It's only a matter of time before we have another royal wedding to look forward to.…
