Lauren Conrad and her husband William Tell have been married for almost a year, but that doesn't mean their honeymoon period is coming to a close any time soon. In a blog post she wrote on her website this week, she reflected on her favorite parts about being married — and it sounds like she's still a lovesick newlywed!
"My favorite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with," she wrote in the post. "Dreaming of the things we will do in 20 years from now is so fun."
That doesn't mean it's all sunshine and butterflies for the couple, though. They face the same struggles that all husbands and wives do. "The hardest is compromise," the reality TV star-turned-fashion designer added. "You always want to be considerate of each other. It's not just about you anymore."
It's a tough lesson to learn, but it means that she and her lawyer husband are doing it right. In fact, Conrad and Tell are probably so strong because they were fully committed long before their romantic wedding in California's Santa Ynez Valley last September.
"We were full-disclosure [before the wedding]. There were no surprises," she told Us Weekly in February, before adding, "We already lived together, we already were very much partners, and we knew we were going to spend our lives together, so you know we had a beautiful wedding and it was so great."
