Ever since Lauren Conrad got engaged to boyfriend William Tell last month, we've watched her "Wedding Bells" Pinterest board like a hawk. The round-cut engagement ring Tell proposed with was a great fit for her style. Her feminine, sophisticated, yet slightly bohemian, taste covers some of our favorite wedding trends: Pale pink and gold details, one-tier wedding cakes, lush peony bouquets, and more. We even picked out bridesmaid dresses for her former Hills costars to wear in our dream version of her wedding, where LC is still BFF with Lo, Audrina, and Stephanie.

Despite our excitement, it looks like we'll have a lot more time to stalk her wedding planning process. A source told Us Weekly that Conrad isn't rushing to marry her live-in love. "She wants to take her time and enjoy the process," the source said, while another friend added that "Lauren would like to get married next year, possible in the early fall."

Whenever the wedding happens, one thing is crystal-clear: It will not be on TV. After leaving The Hills, Conrad swore off doing any reality TV involving her personal life. Sigh. What a treat 2014 would be with the possibility of seeing her, Lauren Manzo, and The Bachelor's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici tie the knot for all to see.
It sounds to us like the former Laguna Beach and Hills star (now a lifestyle blogger, author, and designer) is calling the shots on most of the details, but her musician fiancé is reportedly actively involved in choosing the wedding music. Tell, a USC law student who used to play guitar and sing for the group Something Corporate, "will have a lot to do with the music," a Conrad source told Us, adding that Conrad wants him to choose between a band and a DJ. "She wants Will to share his opinions," says the friend. "She's not going to be a bridezilla!"
Brides-to-be should take a cue from Tell's involvement. If a guy loves bartending, for example, let him choose the signature cocktail. If he likes building things in his spare time, he can take on a project like constructing an altar. Regardless, make sure he knows he's included in every step of the process—we promise he won't want to miss the wedding cake tasting.
