Looks like the celebrity wedding of the year finally has a location! Lady Gaga finally crossed off one thing from her wedding planning to do list and picked a venue for her upcoming nuptials to Taylor Kinney.
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney announced early in 2015 that they got engaged on Valentine's Day. The pop diva and her "Chicago Fire" fianceé, have yet to divulge any exact details on the wedding plans, until know.
According to Page Six, the Golden Globe winner is planning to tie the knot in Italy. Gaga, born Stefanie Germanotta, wants to celebrate her Italian roots by planning her wedding in the Italian countryside. And who could blame her for choosing such a romantic location! And it's certainly a popular place for over the top celebrity weddings (um, Kimye, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, George and Amal Clooney!). Now that the location has been set the stars are taking their time hashing out all the details, so setting the right date and exact venue are tasks they have yet to knock off their planning list. Though the couple is still mum on the subject of their wedding date. Kinney told People earlier this month that "We'll keep it a surprise," about a possible date to walk down the aisle.
As far as her wedding dress goes, we shouldn't expect something too crazy for Gaga, the singer is just out to please her man. Gaga told WWD when it comes to her wedding dress plans, "It's all about my man. I haven't really thought about anything specific yet but whatever it is, it will be totally for him." A source close to the singer told Page Six that the venue will inspire the dress, so we're thinking it's an Italian designer for Gaga! Speculation has been running that Gaga's dress will be designed by the singer's close friend Donatella Versace, but the jury is still out. Gaga also frequently sports Armani Privé on the red carpet, so we wouldn't be surprised if she turned up in a custom-made Armani gown.
Either way, if the dress is half as romantic as Lady Gaga's heart-shaped engagement ring, we're in for the wedding style moment of the decade!
