People reports that Kimye welcomed 600 guests — that's six times the amount of rumored attendees — to the iconic Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles to celebrate on the eve of their big day. (Earlier, Kim and Kanye hosted a more intimate pre-wedding brunch at Valentino Garavani's 17th-century château.)
And while the "small and intimate" guest list rumor has already been debunked, another Kimye wedding report proved to be true: Lana Del Rey performed for the couple. She was expected to take the stage at the wedding, but the singer, instead, serenaded the rehearsal-dinner crowd with her hit song "Summertime Sadness", along with two other tunes. "Kim and Kanye love her and were so happy she could sing for them," a source tells E! News.
For their special evening, Kim donned a white tuxedo-inspired dress with a dangerously low-cut neckline and a thigh-high slit from Maison Martin Margiela, while Kanye showed some skin, as well, sporting a low-cut black tank under a camel-hued suit from the designer.
This was just one of the first stops in their whirlwind weekend of wedding activities in both Paris and Florence, Italy. The couple originally hoped to get married at the Palace, but their request was refused, thus they decided to throw this decadent bash instead. Kim and Kanye will tie the knot at Forte di Belvedere in Florence tomorrow.
Rumor also has it that unlike most bridal traditions, Kanye has taken full reign of wedding planning in an effort to completely surprise Kim. (We guess those groomzilla reports are turning out to be true!) TMZ says that the reality star has no access to the internet or her phone, as Kanye has been working tirelessly to put the final touches on their celebration. The guests have also been left in the dark — they are said to be unsure as to how they will get between Paris and Florence for the ceremony, as well as being clueless as to where they'll stay on Saturday night after the wedding is over.
All eyes will be on the world's most talked about couple tomorrow — we cannot wait to see what Mr. West dreams up.
