It's been a rough week for Lamar Odom and the Kardashian clan, but it looks like there's a little light at the end of the tunnel. The former Lakers player and Khloé Kardashian have decided to call off their divorce, giving their marriage another go, E! News reports.
While the tumultuous relationship seemed to reach its final end this July, when the two signed their divorce papers, the documents have yet to reach a judge's desk to finalize the dissolution. According to E!, Laura Wasser, Khloé's attorney, went to the judge this morning to make sure the divorce petition wouldn't get finalized. The judge agreed, which means Koko and Lam Lam are still married.
Yesterday, Khloé finally opened up about dealing with Lamar's drug overdose. "The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar," she wrote on her website. "I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure."
Even though they've had their issues — namely Odom's drug use — there's always been an enduring bond between them. In a November 2014 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé admitted: "If I had my way I would still be married to Lamar. Like even right now, today, I wish I was still married to him."
It looks like her wish has come true!
