Actors Kevin Hart and Josh Gad can now count themselves amongst the ranks of A-listers like Beyoncé and Jay Z, Snoop Dog, Serena Williams, and Taylor Swift. What, exactly, does this group have in common? They're all celebrity wedding crashers, of course! The two stars of the upcoming comedy The Wedding Ringer recently paid a bride and groom an unexpected visit on their big day.
According to Yahoo, Hart and Gad were at a photoshoot in West Hollywood late last week when they learned Rajan and Chandni Patel's wedding was happening just doors away. So the two funny men simply had to join in on the festivities.
"Kevin and I were in the neighborhood doing photoshoot... right next door, and we were a little insulted we weren't invited to this wedding," Gad says in the video above, which was posted to the couple's YouTube page. Hart then chimes in saying, "So we just came!"
Hilarity further ensues as Hart decides to offer a toast to the new Mr. and Mrs. Patel, which ultimately becomes a two-part effort from the comedians. "I want to give a speech, because I know love. I'm looking at two people that are in love. 'L' is for 'Lucky'. 'O' is for..."
"Opportunity!" Gad exclaims.
"Thank you, Josh, because I didn't have an 'O'," Hart says. "'V' is for..."
"Victory!" Gad adds again.
"Last but not least. 'E'!" Hart says quickly, before Gad jumps in saying, "Edward Jones!"
"No! No, I got one. Everlasting!" to which the entire wedding reception cheers with great enthusiasm.
But that's not all! Gad serenades the pair with an irreverent little song about the future of their relationship before he and Hart pull the entire reception onto the dance floor.
While it's certainly no secret that wedding crashers can put a damper on anyone's reception, we're pretty certain that Hart and Gad's unexpected experience was entirely welcomed. Watch the entire event unfold in the video above!
