Dressed in head-to-toe in ivory, Jenner walked the runway wearing Chanel's take on a wedding-day pantsuit. The double-breasted jacket was completed with a floral pin and floor-sweeping veil worn as a cape. The severity of the look didn't stop there with her hair worn cropped, super straight, and asymmetrical and her makeup done with an extra-bold brow, red lip, and heavily rouged cheeks.
Obviously this look isn't for the faint of heart, but a high-fashion bride looking to make her mark would do well to take a few notes from this tailored ivory ensemble. It also could serve as some serious rehearsal dinner or day-after brunch outfit inspiration.
Regarding the jacket, Lagerfeld said in a statement, *Glamour UK *reports, "The idea was to take the most iconic jacket from the 20th century and turn it into a 21st century version which was technically not possible at the time it was born."
Jenner was pretty thrilled to play the part of a bride for Chanel. In an Instagram post with a snap from the show, Jenner wrote: "of course I said yes #Chanel #HauteCouture."
Proud mom Kris Jenner reposted the photo, calling herself the mother of the bride. The matriarch wrote: " I am SOOOOO proud of you Kendall!!!!!!! #proudmama thank you @karllagerfeld @chanelofficial ....#amazing #youclosedtheshow!! #motherofthebride."
For those who could pull off this military-inspired wedding look, it's pretty killer.
