It looks like Kaley Cuoco was right in choosing tennis player Ryan Sweeting to be her husband — he's the only person whose ever been able to surprise the Big Bang Theory star!
Last night, Cuoco's husband of nearly a year threw a surprise party for her 29th birthday. The thing that makes the whole shebang so special is that Cuoco is known for throwing lavish parties for her friends — including a recent surprise shinding she threw for her hubby — but has never been successfully kept out of the loop herself.
"Kaley had no idea about the party and said it's the first time she'd ever been surprised. Ryan had been planning the party with me since July and is a great planner, he wanted to make sure that every detail was tailored to everything she loves," event planner Lauren Tatum told People of the event, held at Nobu Malibu.
The multi-faceted theme of her favorite things included: "pink-and-black everything, horses and Ryan loves Kaley." Each guest also donned bright-pink circular necklaces that said "Ryan loves Kaley" on them.
As if the party wasn't enough, Ryan wrote new lyric's to the tune of Maroon 5's song "Happy Ever After" that all of the guests learned and sang to her.
"She sat in a chair and listened to her friends sing, and eventually grabbed the printed lyrics and joined in, as well. We played the song at the party a few times throughout the night and Kaley and the guests loved it," Tatum added.
Some other fun details include a cake from The Butter End with horses drawn on it (because Kaley loves to horseback ride), a scantily-clad Vegas-inspired showgirl involving Ryan and Kaley in her routine (Tatum says Kaley handled it "like an old pro"), hot pink sequin tableclothes, and R-and-K napkins with a heart and horseshoe on them.
Happy birthday Kaley! Looks like you've snagged yourself one incredible husband.
