First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the pregnancy rumors — well, if you're a celebrity couple, that is. Jennifer Aniston and her new husband Justin Theroux have been making headlines recently for a rumored pregnancy, but the actress took no time in putting those rumors to rest.
After being snapped by paparazzi during a tropical vacation — she and her hubby were on a Bahamas getaway — with what appeared to be a small bump (see the photo below), rumors started flying that the 47-year-old Aniston was expecting. But the actress was quick to shut down the unsubstantiated rumors, with her publicist confirming to Metro.co.uk that there was no truth to the In Touch story claiming she was pregnant — this story was a "fabrication." "Jennifer is not pregnant," the publicist said.
A source had allegedly told In Touch that Aniston and Theroux had wanted to have a baby for years and were 'ecstatic' to be expecting. 'Their baby news came at a bad time in her life, too — she just lost her mother, and she and Justin almost broke up. But now this surprise pregnancy has turned the worst of times into the best of times,' the insider told the magazine.
Aniston has been open about the 'unfair' pressure people put on her — and women in general — to have children. "I don't like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women — that you've failed yourself as a female because you haven't procreated. I don't think it's fair," she told Allure. "You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn't mean you aren't mothering — dogs, friends, friends' children...This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don't want to be a mother, and how selfish that is."
After a three-year long engagement, Theroux and Aniston finally tied the knot in a top-secret wedding ceremony in August 2015. The celebration was so top-secret guests didn't even know they were attending a wedding until the ceremony started! The intimate nuptials took place in the couple's backyard and Aniston's former Friends co-star Courteney Cox was the maid of honor, with other celebrity guests including Chelsea Handler, Lisa Kudrow, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi to name a few.
