After eight months of romantic bliss, Jennie Garth and David Abrams tied the knot Saturday night. The intimate ceremony was held at the bride's Los Olivos, Calif. six-acre home in the Santa Ynez Valley and was, the couple told People, "the perfect night."
The couple continued, "we are so happy to have our family and friends surrounding us on this special occasion!" In fact, Garth's three daughters — Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, 8 — all played important roles in the ceremony, according to People. "They are my wedding party. Period," the actress told E! News.
The 43-year-old bride and Beverly Hills, 90210 alum was very hands-on when it came to the occasion, according to Us Weekly. "I'm working with an amazing designer for the dress, which I'm very excited about. We're sort of creating that together," she told the magazine in May. "I like to call the shots and when I know what I want, the best person to make it happen usually is me."
Garth had a hand in landscaping her backyard, too, which served as the backdrop for the outdoor ceremony. "I do Pinterest sometimes," she told Us Weekly. "My house is very white and bright and light."
Abrams, 34, an actor, popped the question in March while the couple was vacationing in Tulum, Mexico. "Dave had been working on the [proposal] for months, and really wanted to plan something special for her around her birthday and make it perfect," a source told People. And the actress seemed to be — and still is! — swept off her feet. "Things just lined up and I was like, 'I don't need it, I don't want it,' and there it came," she said. "He completes me."
