The couple said "I do" in an intimate, outdoor ceremony, attended by a handful of close family and friends, in Virginia. "We can confirm that Jason Mraz married longtime girlfriend Tina Carano, a former Hermosa Beach, CA, coffee shop owner originally from Royal Oak, MI, yesterday in a private ceremony at the Pole Green Historic Church in Mechanicsville, VA, where Mraz grew up," the singer's rep told Us Weekly. "About 50 close friends and family attended the wedding, which took place outside on a beautiful fall day."
Beautiful it was! Mraz shared a photo of his bride in their ceremony space on Instagram yesterday. With the fall foliage behind his new wife, he wrote: "Today I was made the luckiest man in the world." Um, how cool are those architectural ceremony structures in front of the gorgeous fall foliage? Now that's a creative ceremony space!
He even updated his Instagram bio to read: "Singer/Songwriter/Husband."
The two met back in 2007 at the coffee shop Carano owned. In a recent interview with Osider magazine, the two revealed how they met. "I felt an instant connection to her and have admired her integrity and practices since day one," Mraz told the magazine. "She is whole-hearted in every action, is extremely generous, completely drama-free, and has the most intuitive-genius-mind in the kitchen. Not to mention her smile absolutely melts me."
Congratulations to the happy couple!
