It was certainly a celebratory weekend for country singer Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr! The pair, who got engaged at the San Diego Zoo in September, tied the knot on Saturday.
According to Us Weekly Aldean and his American Idol-alum now-wife exchanged vows during an evening ceremony in Mexico. "This is the best day ever — I've got my girl here, my friends, my family — it's the best day ever!" Aldean told the magazine in a statement.
Kerr shared similar sentiments, saying, "Today has been the best day of my life. I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend."
Although we don't know much about their destination wedding, Aldean told People that he assisted Kerr with the planning. "Britt gets overwhelmed sometimes, lots of people are pulling on her," Aldean explained. "She wants me to love it too, so when she asks I'm happy to give my opinion. Lots of people are pulling on the bride so I'm happy to step in and make a decision if that's what she wants."
But there was one detail he refused to have a say in: the wedding cake! "I don't eat cake so I'm not even weighing in on the groom's cake," he said.
The pair reportedly celebrated with their close friends and family, which, according to ABC News includes Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson and Aldean's two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl, from his first married to high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery.
