When you're a bride-to-be, it can begin to feel like the wedding planning process is truly taking over every inch of your schedule and free time. You'll start to lay in bed at night and wonder how in the world you can fit in the hobbies, activities, and even just everyday necessities that you managed to juggle before wedding planning began. It's safe to say that your to-do list will be hijacked with wedding decisions and vendor meetings until the big day. However, if keeping in shape has always been a priority, or if you're a bride who wants to make sure she has time to work off a few extra pounds before the big day, here are four easy ways to fit exercise into your busy wedding planning schedule.
Multitask as Much as Possible
Take a walk around the block when you have a vendor call, or do ten push-ups after every twenty wedding envelopes you stuff. Make working out something you do in between or even while you are focusing on wedding planning.
Carve Out an Hour
Whether it's once a day or three times a week, schedule an hour that's devoted strictly to working out. Leave your cellphone and computer at home, and hit the gym or take a workout class.
Team Up with Your Loved One
Don't feel like you have to workout alone! Ask your fiancé to join in, and you can be each other's accountability buddy. Plan workouts together with a rule that when you're powerlifting or running on the treadmill, and as a rule — no wedding talk is allowed.
Work Out On-the-Go
Remember, you don't have to be near a gym to get a good workout in. Download a handful of exercise apps to your phone and turn them on whenever you have five or ten minutes to spare.
