Having sex at your parents' house is definitely taboo, no? Well, a new study has revealed that many couples get it on while staying with relatives for the holidays.
The latest study from online and mobile travel leader Priceline surveyed 1,000 adults in a one-week span between the last week of October and the first of November, on a slew of family and vacation-related topics. It found that 40 percent of those surveyed had sex with their significant other while having guests in their own house or visiting relatives.
The survey also makes it clear that many people would actually find it most relaxing to have some personal vacation time during the holidays. 44 percent of those polled said a tropical island is the perfect getaway from fleeing the pressure and stress of hosting or being a guest, while 26 percent would love a cruise and 19 percent prefer a city jaunt. Also, it turned out that 68 percent of those participating wished that their loved ones stay at a hotel instead of their home.
Though it's the most wonderful time of the year, it really can be a bit daunting when considering how much one has to put together to make all of the moments perfect. With the anxiety that comes with gift shopping and ending the year at work off strong, so many are in need of some quiet alone time — but that's almost the exact opposite of what the holidays normally are.
Staying "busy" is definitely a good way to release some tension and enjoy yourself amidst all of the season's chaos.
