Hannah Bronfman and Brendan Fallis are married! On Saturday, May 20, Brendan, 37, a DJ and entrepreneur, and Hannah, 29, founder of HBFIT and DJ, exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony at La Mamounia, a historic palace-like hotel in Marrakech, Morocco. “We considered many places before deciding on Marrakech,” Hannah says. “But then we completely fell in love with Morocco—the food, the people, the colors, and the vibe.”
For their morning ceremony, Hannah and Brendan embraced the natural beauty of their location by exchanging vows at a magical spot that overlooked the property’s lush gardens. (There is a long row of olive trees and tons of rose bushes.) The bride wore a custom Vera Wang gown; she worked with the designer herself at the label’s flagship salon in New York City. “I love the sweetheart bustier. It’s very elegant and timeless,” Hannah says. Which is exactly how she looked walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of “Crimson and Clover,” on the arm of her father, financier Edgar Bronfman Jr.
Flanked by their squads—Hannah had five bridesmaids and Brendan had five groomsmen—the couple exchanged their vows under a canopy of blossoming trees. (The bride wanted a ceremony that was more spiritual than religious.)
Immediately following the morning’s events, the couple took time to relish their newly married status: “Right after our ceremony, we went to lunch—just the two of us—off property,” Hannah says. “Everyone told us that the day goes by quickly, so I wanted to maximize it with a morning ceremony and have time for us to have a moment to ourselves.”
Of course, the festivities didn’t stop there! To see more pictures from Hannah and Brendan’s weekend-long Moroccan party, check out the August/September issue of Brides, on newsstands July 5. And for now: Cheers to the happy couple!
