Allison Williams is finally opening up about her ultra-romantic Italian honeymoon with husband, CollegeHumor founder, Ricky VanVeen, and it sounds like an absolute dream! After a star-studded ceremony (Tom Hanks officiated the nuptials!) the two jetted to Italy to celebrate their newlywed status.
The Girls star revealed she's now totally on the Italy bandwagon — and can you blame her? The actress told E! News at Forevermarks' celebration of "A Diamond is Forever" that her and new hubby explored Italy, stopping in Naples and the Amalfi Coast.
"I can't even, like, it's hard to describe without sounding obnoxious because I've always thought all my friends who like love Italy and talk about it are kind of obnoxious, but now I'm one of those people because it's as if we just discovered it and it's the oldest culture," Williams gushed.

Being a self-proclaimed history nerd, Williams couldn't get enough of exploring the country's history. "It's the most magical country. I love to nerd out on a trip historically, so I get a guide go around do all the things," she said. "I studied archeology and anthropology a bit in college, so to stand in Pompeii, it's like 'Ugh!'"
The duo tied the knot in September in a top-secret ceremony in Wyoming, they even had guests fly into Denver to make sure everything stayed under wraps. William's stunned in a handmade Oscar de la Renta gown with sheer lace sleeves and a long train. The pair exchanged "I dos" in front of family and friends, including Williams' co-stars Lena Dunham, Zosia Mamet, and Jemima Kirke.
