Eddie Redmayne has a heart full of love! The Theory of Everything star married fiancée Hannah Bagshawe at the Babington House in Somerset, England.
"I am happy to confirm that Hannah and Eddie married today," Redmayne's rep said in a statement to to People. "They celebrated with a small number of close family and friends."
The lovebirds got engaged over Memorial Day weekend, after being together for three years. At the time, a friend of the couple's told Us: "He had been planning on it for awhile," the source said. "They have a very relaxed and supportive relationship ... they seemed to have always known they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.
With Redmayne's career picking up (first with the role of Marius in the 2012 production of Les Miserables and most recently with his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, which has garnered him nominations at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and The Golden Globes), he noted a few months back that fiancée Bagshawe had taken complete reins with planning. "Hannah's like: 'Well, you work at Pinewood studios — can't you fix up some fake snow?'" Redmayne told the Daily Mail of his big day in September.
Another source close to the couple commented that Bagshawe had been "taking the lead on everything" when it came to wedding planning. "He's just trying to make her happy but doesn't want it to be a huge affair."
With his career picking up and now this blissful union, the future looks very bright for Mr. and Mrs. Redmayne.
