If there's anyone who is a loyal fan and lover of Disney movies, it's the ladies here at BRIDES. From rounding up the prettiest princess-inspired wedding dresses to inspiration boards that emulate your fave Disney films, you could say we're kinda obsessed with fairy tale celebrations. Which is why we were SO excited to see a couple who took their love of Disney and turned it into a DIY wedding project. The result? Some pretty bad*ss centerpieces, TBH.
Monica and Ryan, who were planning a killer Las Vegas wedding, wanted to combine three important aspects into their big day celebration: Disney, vintage glam, and Fall. According to POPSUGAR, "The bride did not hold back when incorporating special Disney details throughout her big day, including a Disney ring box, a hidden Mickey inside her dress, bride and groom Mickey caps, engraved Mickey champagne glasses, Disney-themed cupcakes, AND an Up-themed guestbook and 'Adventure Fund' jar." The bride even coordinated bridesmaid bouquets and boutonniere charms to reflect all of her wedding party's favorite Disney movies! She thought of everything didn't she?!
But what's most impressive of all of these details is her DIY Disney/Pixar movie centerpieces. The bride worked hard to create themes from her favorite films, including Aladdin, Monster's Inc., and Toy Story. As you can see for yourself, these reception centerpieces are no joke. And what we love even more than the intricate creations themselves is the fact that the bride and groom later auctioned them off and then donated the proceeds to Monica's favorite nonprofit organization.
As for their love of all things Disney? Apparently, Disneyland is where their romance began. "They were engaged at Disneyland in the Blue Bayou restaurant, and the Haunted Mansion was the first place they ever said, 'I love you,'" the couple's photographer told POPSUGAR. "Their wedding was a truly whimsical event, and the couple wanted to make everyone feel like a little piece of Disney magic."
