The Bachelorette duo definitely wanted a warm-weather destination for the momentous occasion, telling Us Weekly that the choice was between Hawaii and Fiji before they had even tied the knot. "We were deciding between Hawaii and Fiji, and so, [with] both you can't go wrong," said Hartsock. "I think there's more to do in Hawaii compared to Fiji. I actually wanted to go with something more adventurous as opposed to just completely laid back."
Hartsock included us in a bit of the fun, posting a photo of the getaway on Instagram yesterday of a breathtaking sunset over the water. Alongside the soothing snap, she wrote: "From one sunset to another. #LifeisBeautiful." We couldn't agree more!
Well, it looks like Hartsock's honeymoon wish has definitely come true! The couple indulged in a beautiful sunset cruise (most likely where the above picture was snapped) and a blood-pumping paddleboarding adventure in the Pacific Ocean, Us revealed from some inside sources.
The two met on season 9 of the The Bachelorette two years ago. The favorite, Forester, exited the competition before the show's finale in a dramatic turn of events, leaving Hartsock to quickly fall head-over-heels for Siegfried and give him her final rose.
Just a few days ago, we reported that the reality TV twosome tied the knot in Palos Verdes, California on Sunday, January 18th. They exchanged vows in front of some other former stars of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette including Brooks Forester, Ali Fedotowsky, and Zak Waddell, with Hartsock slipping into not one, but two dresses that she had a hand in designing with Maggie Sottero.
