As a Southerner, warm-weather cocktails often involve one key ingredient: cucumber. A cucumber-based drink is crisp and refreshing, and is a great option to serve during an alfresco cocktail hour to help guests cool off on a warm afternoon. This recipe is a creative concoction that combines EFFEN Cucumber Vodka with super-hydrating coconut water (not to be confused with creamy coconut milk) and zingy kiwi fruit.
EFFEN Cucumber Coconut Palm
1 ½parts EFFEN Cucumber Vodka
1 ½ parts coconut water
1 small kiwi or half of a large kiwi, peeled
¾ parts simple syrup
Combine ingredients, squeezing or muddling the kiwi, in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake. Strain and pour into a tall glass and serve with ice.
