Well, this is interesting timing. While Prince Harry is embracing bachelor-dom, it looks like very recent ex Cressida Bonas is moving on pretty well, too.
According to E! News, Bonas has been cast in Harvey Weinstein's latest film project, Tulip Fever, an adaptation of Deborah Moggach's best-selling novel, which will be directed by Justin Chadwick.
Set to star alongside supermodel Cara Delevingne (who, by the way, was the most gorgeous bridesmaid at sister Poppy's recent nuptials), Daisy Lowe, Judi Dench, Matthew Morrison, Christoph Waltz and Zach Galifianakis, Cressy has been cast to play a society lady in 17th century Amsterdam.
Though this career move may come as a surprise to some, Bonas actually studied drama at Leeds University before coupling up with the royal. In fact, the 25-year-old just made her theatrical debut at the annual arts and literature Hay Festival in Wales last week.
Clearly, Cressida shirked her potential princess duties for her career aspirations, and it seems to be working.
Meanwhile, Harry is already on the lookout for a new girl. "He was sad, but he's dusted himself off and is now moving on," one of Harry's friends tells Vanity Fair. "He's on the lookout for a new girlfriend already."
Perhaps Harry's new lady will share something in common with his other famous ex, Chelsy Davy. "Chelsy was far more fun than Cressida on a night out and it seems like he's looking for somebody more like Chelsy now," a source tells E! News. "He wants the fun factor to be a big part of their relationship."
We'll have to wait and see what happens, but, either way, we wish the best for the royal and the budding actress!
