Country star Tyler Farr may take a break from making breakup songs — he proposed to Hannah Freeman, his girlfriend of two and a half years, on Sunday!
The singer announced the happy news with a photo of him and his brand-new fiancée on Instagram that day, along with the caption, "Proud to say I'm engaged to my best friend and the most amazing woman I've ever known". We can't quite tell what the diamond on her engagement ring looks like from the photo, but we're sure it's beautiful up close!
According to People, he popped the question in Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. "Truly the best moment of my life! And I honestly couldn't think of a better church than the mother church of country music," he said in a statement.
"I'm a sucker for heartbreak songs," he continued. "But with every heartache you learn, and that coincides with my music career — all the times and trials led me to find my best friend, a woman that truly makes me a better person. And I am now so very blessed and proud to call her my fiancée."
We're sure his legions of fans are more than ready for some love songs now that he's planning a wedding! Farr burst onto the country music scene with his debut album, Redneck Crazy, in 2013. He released his second album, Suffer in Peace, last month.
