Shot to the heart! Arrow, Chicago Med and The Affair actor Colin Donnell said "I do" to Broadway actress Patti Murin Friday evening in a New York City celebration that included fellow Arrow co-star Stephen Amell and a nod to the bride's favorite reality TV show, The Bachelorette, according to E! News.
"Last night on #TheBachelorette, Colin D. took home the most dramatic rose ceremony ever," Murin wrote on Twitter, detailing a rose ceremony that included another star guest, Broadway actor Andrew Rannells. "Thank you @AndrewRannells for being my Chris Harrison. I love you to pieces."
Murin tweeted again, nailing home her affection for the show: "But seriously you guys, @AndrewRannells and I literally held a rose ceremony. Like, we went there."
Photos snapped by the actor's older brother, editorial photographer Ryan Donnell, and posted to Twitter show the couple deliriously happy. Photographer Laurie Marie Duncan was also on hand to capture the couple, Murin dressed in an ivory rouched gown with delicate lace detail on its straps, and Donnell decked in a classic black-and-white suit. The bride carried a round bouquet of champagne and ivory-colored roses.
"All I want to do is talk about our wedding last night so please bear with me for a few days," Murin captioned the photo of her rings. "We are officially hitched!"
The couple also shared a bit of their love story with their guests, labeling their "Colin & Patti's Central Park Punch" signature cocktail with a description of how they met. The cocktail, a mixture of gin and creme de violette liqueur, was created by cocktail book author Tim Federle, who riffed off the couple's love story and Shakespearean plays to develop the mixture. How adorable!
