There's very little that's more romantic than the gorgeous architecture of Europe, so it should come as little surprise that a stunning wedding in Rome is totally stealing our hearts. Whether you're tying the knot at home or abroad, there's something inspiring (and downright entertaining) about watching a couple tie the knot in a beautiful locale. Every week we take you behind the scenes of one of the fabulous affairs featured on our real weddings video channel, and today we're crossing the Atlantic to witness Victoria and Tony's nuptials in the Piazza Del Popolo and at the Torcescenza Castle in Rome, Italy.
Evergreen's cinematic style makes this sweet couple seem that much more adorable — don't even try to tell us you don't feel like you're watching two Hollywood stars tie the knot! The bride looks incredible in her full ball gown wedding dress, complete with a high neckline and lots of lace embellishment. And her groom doesn't look too shabby himself: Tony's tailored attire should be a guide for all husbands-to-be.
And speaking of attire, are their guests not the chicest crowd you'd ever seen? We love how pretty Victoria's bridesmaids look in their blush gowns and how dashing Tony's groomsmen look in their dark tuxes. But what really got us is how happy the bride and groom look as they set off around the city in their adorable white convertible, which was decorated with a garland of greenery.
Even if you don't have a beautiful European city as your wedding backdrop, there are plenty of cues you can take from these happy newlyweds for your own wedding. For starters, consider their wedding exit. Victoria and Tony made sure their loved ones were all outside for their big goodbye, ready to shower the couple with a mix of rose petals, confetti, and rice. The couple didn't jet off just then, though. Make like this smart couple and use your exit as an opportunity to mingle with guests, freeing you up for fun at cocktail hour and the reception.
