Looking for some easy ways to save money on your wedding? Heather McCall, Wedding Specialist at Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove, NJ, gave us some great tips.
"Write out your budget before starting your search for venues and vendors," says Heather. "Looking at vendors outside of your price range will only cause you to go over budget."
"Consider having a smaller wedding party," says Heather. "Every bridesmaid or groomsman represents a dollar amount (gifts, etc.). Just think—you could have an amazing band so you and your pals can dance the night away for the subtraction of four members of your bridal party."
"Don't pick a venue that needs tons of decorations and sprucing up," says Heather. "It will end up costing a bundle more and won't looking as great as a venue that is beautiful as a stand alone."
"Take on a do-it-yourself project, whether it's centerpieces or invitations," says Heather. "It can be a fun project for you and your friends, plus it's more affordable."
