The actress, best known for her time as the deceased narrator of Desperate Housewives Mary Alice Young, couldn't be more pleasantly surprised about their pending nuptials.
"I honestly never thought I would find somebody else that I could spend the rest of my life with," she told Closer Weekly , who first reported the news of the couple's engagement at an event supporting Pfizer's "Let's Talk About Change" campaign, for which she's a spokesperson.
The two lovebirds met while working on a play together, but didn't begin dating until two years later. "This came completely by surprise on all levels," Strong continued. "I have so much to look forward to with him and in our lives together."
She isn't afraid to share her love on Instagram, either. Just last month she posted an insanely cute picture of them two, with the caption: "Happy Birthday to this beautiful man! I am so grateful you were born ;-)"
There's also adorable snaps of the happy couple on the red carpet together, or pictures of Farmanesh-Bocca in the car with their pup and a sweet solo shot of him smiling at brunch the day after Christmas with the caption: "#artisan brunch Paso Robles #boxingday #love"
This will be Strong's second marriage. She was previously wed to Tom Henri for 22 years before the two called it quits four years ago.
No further details have surfaced about the engagement (or ring!) but we'll keep our eyes peeled on any developments.
