If you regularly wait with bated breath for the next installment in Ryan Reynolds's long stream of LOL-worthy tweets about parenting, you're in good company: Blake Lively recently admitted that each of her husband's hilarious musings about their two daughters make her fall in love with him a little bit more every time he posts.
"He may as well work for the Enquirer. When he says 'my daughter,' he's never, ever talking about her. Everything is a completely made-up scenario," Lively, 29, told Glamour in her September 2017 cover story. "He'll run them by me sometimes just to make me laugh." She added, "But, oh, I'm so in love with him when he writes that stuff. I mean, I'm in love with him most of the time, but especially with that."
Reynolds, 40, also recently spoke about collaborating with his wife on the tweets, which include savage gems such as "Went to Disneyland because my daughter's obsessed with Mickey Mouse. She was so excited when I got home and told her" and "My daughter loves being buried up to her neck in sand at the beach. Her little face lights up when I come back to get her the next day." He told Entertainment Tonight, "Some of the ones about our daughter or parenting ones or advice no one should take, I run past [Lively], in case she objects." But, he added, "Otherwise it's mostly stuff done on, like, an airplane, flying somewhere."
Lively also spoke to Glamour about the incredibly healthy way she and Reynolds, whom she married in a private ceremony in South Carolina in 2012, deal with conflicts in their marriage. "In other relationships, if something came up, I would call my girlfriends or my sister and say, 'Hey, this is what he did—what should I do?' Where with him, we were friends for two years before we were ever dating. And I treat him like my girlfriend," she said. "I'm like, 'Hey, this happened. It upset me. This is how I feel. What do I do?' And he does the same for me. He treats me like his best buddy."
Apparently, the couple that tweets together stays together!
