Whether you need a little help with your budget or keeping everyone involved with the planning on the same page, we've rounded up some of our favorite apps, tech devices and websites to make sure everything leading up to the big day runs as smoothly as possible.
What once was solely the bride's domain, wedding planning is now typically shared among both the bride and groom as well as family and friends. With more than one person involved, though, sticking to a budget and a timeline can be difficult. Couples can stay in sync by sharing a single digital wedding planning notebook with OneNote, which is accessible anywhere from any device. An added bonus, if someone can't make a meeting with a vendor, it makes it easier to access shared info without making a ton of phone calls. The format of OneNote is customizable, so you can insert an Excel budget spreadsheet, a checklist for your timeline, visuals, and hand drawn images to make the perfect seating chart.
You know it, you love it. The classic budget-tracking app comes especially in handy when it comes to working on saving and allocating for specific parts of your wedding budget. If you want that dream dress and want to make sure you can afford it, you better make sure you aren't eating out too much! Mint will break down your spending habits to make sure you don't overspend, and will alert you when you're in danger of doing so.
As mobile-focused as we all are these days, this wedding app does the work of a website (with everything you'd expect, like travel information, maps, and beautiful templates to choose from) and a shared digital space. You can have guests upload photos directly to the app if you want to keep the over sharing off social media.
With it's easy to use interface and huge variety of products from across a wide range of brands, Zola is one of our favorite registry sites/apps out there. Not only is the selection huge, but you can also register for experiences (mixology, anyone?) and guests can go in together on larger items as group gifts!
Surface Pro 4
We all love Pinterest, but sometimes you want to add a little something to your saved images when you're planning out your visuals, which is why we love the Surface Pro 4. You can add images and text for inspiration to ensure you share a vision (with your planner, vendors, and anyone else involved!), and annotate with notes.
