What we loved this week: Karlie Kloss's evening braids, Jaime King's pink lipstick, and Miranda Kerr's timeless ponytail.
__Karlie Kloss at the Pencils of Promise Gala 2015:__Braids aren't reserved only for the summer, as Karlie Kloss demonstrated. She made them fall-ready by pairing them with dark red lipstick — the quintessential shade for the season. We also like how she kept the updo soft and easy by keeping wispy pieces of hair in the front. (If they're going to fall out anyway, may as well do it from the beginning — that's at least one way to make a hairstyle last.)

Jaime King at the Vogue Fashion Fund Show: One way to infuse a bit of fun into otherwise classic hair and makeup? Go for pink lipstick instead of red, like Jaime King did. Her side-swept chignon and gorgeous diamond earrings say black-tie, but adding a swipe of pink lipstick adds a fresh twist. For a similar shade, try Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in Fuchsia Innocent, $39.
Miranda Kerr at the 22nd Annual ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards: We will always love a polished side-parted ponytail for your wedding day. It's easy, it's low maintenance, and there's a style that will look gorgeous with almost every length of hair. Miranda Kerr elevated hers by adding shimmery, neutral eye shadow, highlighter on her cheekbones, and classic red lipstick. So gorge.
