"The more deflated your GI tract, the flatter your stomach will look," says nutritionist Cynthia Sass. Follow these tips the last three or four days before the wedding.
- Avoid gassy foods like onions, broccoli, and beans. Gas buildup will give you a Buddha Belly. If you have any degree of lactose intolerance, steer clear of milk and cheese.
- Don't skip meals. The less food in your GI tract, the more air gets trapped, creating gas.
- Don't chew gum or sip through a straw. Both actions allow gas to get trapped in the GI tract.
- Drink lots of water. It aids digestion and gets things moving along.
