Two former contestants on Bachelor in Paradise have found their own paradise. Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul said "I do" on the first day of filming for season two of the reality show, where they met, according to E! News.
Grodd, who first appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette, and Faddoul, who failed to receive the final rose on the eighteenth season of The Bachelor, got engaged on the finale of the first season of Bachelor in Paradise. They kept their nuptials hush-hush, and asked Chris Harrison — who else! — to officiate their ceremony, according to E! News. The wedding, which was taped, will appear on the new season of the show, which premieres Aug. 2.
While fans were surprised to hear the couple tied the knot, the groom did give a nod to the impeding nuptials via Twitter. The groom captioned a photo of Faddoul getting her hair coiffed into an updo, "Happy 1 year anniversary honey buns! How time has flown this past year. Hmmm...whatcha getting ready for?" The tweet has since been removed.
We're still waiting for details on the couple's big day, but Faddoul did reveal her wedding dreams to Us Weekly in January. "We actually really want to customize our wedding to contribute to The Bachelor nation," she said. "My perfume is actually what I'll be wearing on my wedding day so I'm really excited about that. [And] Clare Crawley, Michelle Money, there are several Bachelor people who will definitely make the list as well as our bridal party."
