"I knew him for a long time and we had always had a connection," Tisdale tells People. "We were friends first. As we became better friends, I definitely knew it was something completely different and special."
"When you know, you know!" she adds about their relationship. "It just happens. It's magical."
She's feeling the love bug so much that leading up to her wedding the former High School Musical star helped produce a web short called It Started With Hello to promote Lindt chocolate's new line of chocolates called Hello. The series features a few romantic comedy-esque story lines, and along the way, viewers can vote what happens to the love story.
"It's all about that first connection with each other," says Tisdale of the new web series.
The romantic at heart wed the lead singer of Annie Automatic this past Monday, September 8th. She announced the newly-minted nuptials through Instagram, with a sunny picture of the happy couple (and her gorgeous dress) and the message: "Best day of my life! Introducing Mr and Mrs French Sept 8, 2014 Shot by @corbingurkin."
Since then, the upcoming star of TBS's Buzzy's shared a few more shots from her big day, including her and her bridesmaids (one of which was Vanessa Hudgens) and the reception setup, full of elegant wooden details and lush greenery.
Whatever they did before making it official, seems to have worked.
