What is My Wedding Website?

My Wedding Website is a free and interactive tool that lets you create a custom website to share everything your guests need to know about your big day, your registry information, the story of your engagement, photos, and more.

How do I create My Wedding Website?

It's easy -- if you can write an e-mail, you can create a website! No technical knowledge needed.

My Wedding Website is accessible from the My Wedding section of Brides.com. Just click on the Home Page link to begin telling your story. You can add pages and information as you like making it easy for you to update the site as your details are confirmed.

Can I choose a custom URL?

Yes. Click on the Settings button to create a unique address for your website. Remember, once you choose a URL, you cannot change it.

Can I password protect my website?

Yes. If you want to keep your website private, click on the Settings tab to add a password to your website. Don't forget to include your password when sharing with guests.

I entered content for the Travel page, but it's not showing up. What happened?

You can control which pages to show on your website. If you want to include a page on your site, just uncheck the checkbox next to Turn Page On/Off at the top of the page.

How do I change the look and feel of my site?

Click on Design to select the design that best suits your wedding style. Click on the small designs to preview each design. When you've found one you like, press Save and the new design will be applied to your Wedding Website.

How does the poll feature work?

Polls are a fun option we've created for to collect feedback from your guests. If you'd like to include a poll on your Home Page, just enter a question and three answers. When your guests vote, they'll see how their response compares to other voters real time. To change your poll question, click on Close Poll next to archive your current poll results. Now, you can add a new poll question.

Can I share pictures on my Wedding Website?

Absolutely!! Upload an image of you and your future husband on the Home page. Then, use the Albums page to share albums you've created with the My Clippings tool. Be sure to check Share on My Wedding Website on the Album Settings page.

I'm not ready to publish my site yet. Can I keep it private for now?

Of course! If you're not ready to share your site or want to take it offline while you make updates, just click on Settings and select Turn Site Off under Disable Site. When you're ready, simply change it back to Turn Site Off.
