What is the Task Checklist?

The Task Checklist is an interactive tool that helps you stay on top of your to-do list. Every task, from booking your ceremony and reception venues to hosting your next-day brunch, is accounted for and scheduled based on your wedding date. You will find smart planning tips related to each item to help keep you organized and in-control.

How does the Task Checklist Tool work?

To use the Task Checklist Tool, you must first register. After you’ve registered, or if you are already a registered member, click here to get started.

After you tell us how far into your planning you are, the Task Checklist automatically generates a list tasks. At the top of the list you will see the links To Be Completed, Completed and All, which allow you to filter tasks. You can also filter by category – i.e. want to make sure you’ve got Flowers covered? Select the Flowers link in the left column to see what Flowers tasks remain.

What do I do once I’ve completed a task?

After you complete a task, check the box next to it. Then click the "update" button, found at the bottom of the page. Completed tasks are moved to the "Completed" list, which you can view by selected the "Completed" link at the top of the task list.

I’m crazy busy! Is there any way to be reminded of my tasks?

The Task Manager does not generate emails or reminders. However, the Brides.com Timeline Reminder newsletter is a great way to get reminders of where you should be in your planning as well as helpful tips and other information. To sign up for the Timeline Reminder newsletter visit personal profile and select Communication Preferences.

Can I add my own task to the Task Checklist

Sure! You can add tasks by clicking on the "Add a Task" link found above the Task List.

I’d like to print my Task Checklist. Is it printable?

Yes. Simply click on "Print Tasks" for a "printer friendly" version of your list

Can I e-mail an electronic version of my Task Checklist to a friend?

Sorry, it is not possible to e-mail the Task Checklist.
