THEIR STORY
Although they met as students in Vermont and got engaged in Manhattan, when Kate and Bill started planning their wedding, their minds drifted south to Key Largo, Florida, where the water is clear and the golf courses private. (And where Kate's family owns a home.)
Nearly 200 guests attended the couple's October event at Key Largo's Ocean Reef Club. Three days of partying kicked off with Friday's links tournament and Margaritaville-themed street fair, fueled by mini-cheeseburgers in paradise and tequila. The next day, the bride's father, a collector of antique cars, sent a Model A for the girls and an old woody for the guys; he and Kate arrived at the wedding ceremony in a 1936 Ford Phaeton. —Sally Kilbridge
