Emily wore a gown by Melissa Sweet. "I wasn’t looking for anything with tulle or beading, but the plain dresses I tried on didn’t feel special enough," she says. "This gown felt perfect."

Each bridesmaid wore strapless pink silk doupioni dresses made by a family friend, and carried different bouquets of blush peonies, sweet peas, ranunculus and fiddlehead ferns. Bouquets and all florals were provided by the Richmond House.

For the couple’s first dance, the Austin-based band Alterego performed "It Had to Be You."

The three-tier wedding cake with frosted buttercream and fresh flowers was included in the catering package at the Richmond House. The monogram cake topper came from Expressions.
