Brad and Julie’s Presbyterian service was officiated by the preacher from Brad’s former church in New Orleans. Julie wore a silk taffeta gown embellished with double-sided satin, made by a local seamstress in her hometown of Dallas. Brad wore a suit by Hugo Boss.

The ceremony was held in the chapel at Peaceful Valley Ranch. "It was the perfect little chapel on the mountain," says Julie. "Very storybook."

"I wanted the flowers to look like we had just picked them off the side of the mountain," says Julie about her bouquet of daisies, yellow roses and white tulips by Floral Design of Europe in Estes Park who arranged all of the flowers for the wedding.

The reception was held in the Music Room at the Stanley Hotel.

A button featuring a word or phrase that reminded the couple of each guest was attached to every place card. "They were real conversation starters," says Julie.

Written in icing on the cake by Colorado Rose Cake Company in Longmont was the poem "Love Song" by Rainer Maria Rilke, which Brad gave to Julie while they were dating.
