The bride fell in love with an ivory silk and champagne satin A-line, strapless gown with crystal beading at the waistline by Vera Wang. "I found the dress at a Neiman Marcus trunk show," Jennifer says. "It was the only wedding dress I tried on, but it was so perfect, I knew my search was over." John and his two groomsmen wore custom Ermenegildo Zegna suits in black summer-weight wool.

For the ceremony decor, floral designer Karen Axel of Tapestry Flowers lined the sea-grass aisle with celery-green hydrangeas and placed urns of tightly packed celadon carnations at its entrance.

At the reception, centerpieces of Black Magic roses, raspberry dahlias, orange Mokara orchids and pink hydrangeas were a beautiful contrast to the earth tones of the site; floating Styrofoam balls covered with red, fuchsia and yellow carnations made a colorful splash in the pool.

Jennifer and John's 125 guests dined on autumn favorites, including heirloom tomato–and–fresh mozzarella salad, roasted kabocha squash–and-mascarpone ravioli, and beef tenderloin. A local vineyard's chardonnay and cabernet complemented the menu and perfectly reflected the couple's love of the wine country.
