Tamala’s father escorted her down the aisle to "Trumpet Voluntary" in D Major at All Saints’ Episcopal Church.

To match the couple's chocolate-brown-and-burgundy color scheme, bridesmaids carried yellow, orange and maroon calla lily bouquets designed by Event Café.

Tamala and her mother purchased Mardi Gras masks and other accoutrements for guests to wear during the wedding march. Guests followed the newlyweds and the band into the reception.

The bride wore a Marisa gown purchased from Pearl's Place in Metairie, La. and selected rich-brown Lazaro dresses with burgundy sashes for her bridesmaids.

Tables were decked in rich, warm jewel tones. Square vases filled with orchids were created by Event Cafe, and the dinner of shrimp creole, and chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya, was catered by Chef William Neal Caterers, Inc.

Tamala and Lincoln chose the Fernbank Museum for its grandeur and unique atmosphere. "I've never been a fan of hotel ballrooms," says Tamala. "When we saw the museum, I was sold."
