The couple planned their wedding from Chile (where they work as diplomats) with the help of It's A Shore Thing. Ocean-inspired tables featured centerpieces of Mitsumata branches and seashells by Nouveau Flowers. Seaspray-colored taffeta linens and chiavari chairs were rented from Townsend Catering.

Lacey chose her ivory English-tulle gown by Vera Wang to match her mother's Belgian-lace veil (which she took off for the reception), but she also loved the gown's beadwork. "The stars underneath the bust reminded me of starfish, so it fit in well with my 'coastal elegance' theme," Lacey says. The cake by Debra Spurlin of Confections on the Coast, with its fondant frosting in shades of blue, also fit the theme, and it was displayed underneath a starfish chandelier by Nouveau Flowers.
