Each table was named after a Cubs player and decorated with yellow-and-white-checked table runners sewn by Francesca’s grandmother. Arrangements of flowers and greenery spilled out of rustic urns, next to candles in colored glasses. Ingredients for the meal of wood-roasted suckling pig, chicken cassoulet, and lamb sausage with braised cavalo nero came from Kinnikinnick and neighboring farms, and were prepared by friends of the groom, who is a chef.
