After sipping sangria (Leilah's favorite) and nibbling on hors d'oeuvres like Maryland crab cakes and Chianti–roasted meatballs during the cocktail hour, everyone headed to the cozy, candlelit dining room for dinner. For the entrée, guests dined on a duet plate of filet mignon with grilled shrimp and scallops. Caterer Ewa Ojarovska oversaw the event. Tables were decorated with arrangements of roses, lilacs, hyacinths, brunia, and cedar.
